Although I check periodically, the cygnets have been elusive this past month. I did see a parent with one child not long after the last update, and was worried that the nest of five or so had sadly shrunk down to a lone survivor. Especially after the tricky adventure they had navigating upstream in my last update. However, today I was happy to see three on an outing with mom and dad.
As young children tend to be, they were quite active and it was a challenge to get the whole family in a single photo where one member wasn’t head underwater, tail feathers in the air searching for snacks, but perseverance paid off and I was able to snatch the family photo. Enjoy!
